RAIPUR,
Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and National Vice-President of BJP Dr Raman Singh participated in the ‘Mahadharna’ demonstration organised in Rajnandgaon district on Thursday.
At the demonstration, Dr Singh fiercely targeted the corruption of the Congress government led by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Talking to journalists, Dr Raman Singh said that the Enforcement Directorate has submitted a dossier based on seized evidence of a liquor scam of over Rs 2000 crore from 2020-21 to 2021-22. Along with this, Dr Singh also cornered the State Government over illicit liquor and said that the government is selling 30 to 40% liquor illegally, collecting Rs 2000 crore in the name of PCM in the government shop without the hologram, weight and excise duty. There couldn’t be a bigger proof of corruption than that the government itself is involved in corruption. Dr Singh also said that the BJP government made a policy to stop illegal liquor in the year 2017, which was changed by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in the year 2019 and opened the way for the illegal liquor business. Congress Government also minted Rs 25 percent commission in coal.
The rice scam is over Rs 5000 crore. All these are the series of corruption of this government. After so many scams came to the fore, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel no longer has the moral right to hold the post of Chief Minister. While discussing the rice scam, the former Chief Minister said that we raised the big scam in the rice coming from the centre for the poor people of the state in the assembly and requested the centre to investigate it, after which a team of four members went to the ration shops. Regarding Congress MLA Chhanni Sahu, Dr Singh said that being troubled by the corruption of the government headed by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Congress’s own woman MLA Chhanni Sahu had to keep Mangalsutra on the table of the RTO office. There couldn’t be anything more shameful than this incident for the Bhupesh Baghel Government.
