Metro Rail Project work is going on in the State capital. The construction of Metro station has started near Alkapuri. Because of this, the road in front of the main gate of Alkapuri has been closed. According to the requirement, traffic has been diverted from May 25 to June 19. Information for the same has been given to the traffic police by the company working on the Metro project. Road closed in front of Alkapuri: The road in-front of Alkapuri will be completely closed for the movement of four-wheelers. All the vehicles coming from AIIMS Hospital will be able to go towards ISBT from Hoshangabad road via Habibganj naka from Alkapuri left side. Vehicles coming and going from Saket Nagar and AIIMS Hospital will be able to move using the right side service road. AIIMS Hospital Metro Station: Under the Bhopal Metro Rail Project, work is being done to construct a metro station near AIIMS hospital. Due to which diversion has been done from May 22 to June 19 by closing one side road in-front of AIIMS Hospital Gate No. 5. The vehicles going from Bagsevaniya towards Alkapuri will be able to move towards Alkapuri via Railway Colony, Sagar Public School from Bagsevaniya.

Commuters going from Alkapuri towards Bagsevaniya will be able to use the one way road in front of AIIMS. Habibganj Naka Metro Station: Metro station is being constructed near Habibganj block under the Bhopal Metro Rail Project. Due to which one side road has been closed and diversion has been done from May 22 to June 19. Light vehicles, two wheelers and four-wheelers will be allowed to use the route from Habibganj Naka towards Alkapuri, AIIMS Hospital only for commuting. Vehicles going from Alkapuri and AIIMS Hospital to Habibganj Naka, in front of Bhopal School of Social Science, next to ICICI, Annanagar, Govindpura turning will be able to go towards Habibganj Naka via ISBT.
