The projects are evaluated based on their quality and public utility, and awards are presented accordingly. The DDN project, implemented by Raipur Smart City Limited in collaboration with project partner IndusInd Bank, involves the installation of DDN plates in 3,11,000 households across the city.
These plates allow landlords to scan a QR code and conveniently pay property tax, water tax, and other taxes. Additionally, residents can easily access 26 essential and emergency services, such as door-to-door garbage collection and tap connections, from the comfort of their homes. Raipur Smart City Limited’s DDN project has been recognised as the best project in the Best Payment and Collection Solution category at the Digital Awards ceremony. The project was presented on the international stage by the project partner, IndusInd Bank. To date, 155,000 houses in Raipur have been equipped with DDN plates through the efforts of the Municipal Corporation, and installations are currently underway for an additional 55,000 houses. Once all houses are equipped with these plates, every household in Raipur city will have access to the online tax payment system and various municipal facilities.
