As western disturbance is active in Madhya Pradesh, weather has changed with cloud cover in 22 districts of State, including Bhopal, Gwalior, Narmadapuram, on Wednesday. Rainfall was recorded in Bhopal in the afternoon. Wind blew for 60 kmph in various cities of State. Weather Department forecast that temperature will be declining by three to four degrees Celsius due to rain and wind.
According to Weather Department rainfall and wind was recorded in Bhopal, Vidisha, Sehore, Rajgarh, Betul, Harda, Narmadapuram, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkala, Satna, Narsinghpur, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and Niwari. Officials said that new weather system is active in State and this will continue till the end of May. This year rainfall and hailstorm and wind were recorded in March, April and May. In the May temperature when touches 46 and 47 degrees Celsius, this year temperature remained around 40 degrees Celsius.
Weather Department said that rain activity will be recorded in Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkala, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Satna, Anupur, Shadol, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhattapur, Tikamgarh and Niwari on May 26. For May 25, rain is expected in Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Dhar, Indore, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkala, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Satna, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhattarpur, Tikamgarh and Niwari.
There are two different systems active in State due to which May was relatively comfortable. Weather scientists said that cyclone is above Arabian Sea due to which moisture is coming in state and resulting into rainfall. Nautapa is also beginning from May 25 but it would be drenching in rain as well. Maximum temperature in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur is ranging from 40 to 42 degrees Celsius while in Khajuraho and Naugaon day temperature crossed 44 degrees Celsius mark. The new weather system will remain activate till May 28. Weather scientists H S Pandey said that a western disturbance is active in North India and a new system is forming as cyclonic circulation above East UP. A turf line is passing through MP to Vidarbha and Telangana that is causing moisture in the air.
