THE Sathawane household in Bhandara is brimming with joy after its daughter astounding success in the HSSC examination, results of which were announced on Thursday. Nandini Sathawane, a student of local Nutan Kanya Kanishtha Mahavidyalaya, has scored an impressive 99.50 percent marks from the C o m m e r c e stream and made everyone part of this journey very proud.

Nandini’s father Sanjay Sathawane is a school bus driver with School of Scholars, Khatroad. Her mother is a home-maker and elder brother Vendant is pursuing B Sc. Talking to The Hitavada, the confident young girl, Nandini said that she had no doubt that she could garner success, for she never considered studying to be a burden, rather enjoyed it. Sharing her mantra she said, “I would never even pick up the book if I did not feel like studying. I sat down to study only when I could give it my 100 percent concentration.” Nandini had taken private coaching for Accounting subject and she said that it helped her. Now, she wants pursue her future in banking. When asked what would be her word of advice for other students she said, “Do Not consider studies to be a burden. Take it easy. If you plan properly and put your heart into it, success is certain.”
