Arun Sao, BJP State President responding to the questions raised by Congress regarding the nine years of BJP Government at the center posed several counter-questions to the Congress Government, highlighting various alleged failures and scandals during their tenure.
Addressing a press conference Sao questioned the Congress Government’s involvement in a Rs 2,000 crore liquor scam and demanded an explanation. He also raised concerns about the Government’s promise of providing employment to 10 lakh people in Chhattisgarh, as only 95 peon posts received two lakh applications. Sao mentioned the deaths of over 25,000 children of tribal/farmers in Chhattisgarh due to lack of treatment, suggesting that Chief Minister Baghel should face legal consequences. The BJP State President criticized the Congress leaders for their alleged support of the tukde tukde gang, accusing them of dividing India and asked how much more destruction they desired.
Regarding the reservation issue, Sao criticized Bhupesh Baghel for rewarding those who fought against tribal-OBC reservation and demanded action from the Congress party against leaders who voted against constitutional status for the OBC Commission.
