Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research (DMIHER) has added one more feather in its cap as the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi, has granted accreditation and recognition to it.

With this accreditation, School of Experiential Learning and Skill Lab of DMIHER(DU) Sawangi Meghe, Wardha is one of the five accredited centres in India and the only centre in Central India. As a result, the DMIHER Skill Lab will be offering various clinical skill courses and training to the DNB trainees assigned to it in the simulated environment, informed Dr Lalit Bhushan Waghmare, Vice Chancellor of the University. He also expressed his thankfulness to Dr Abhijat Seth, Chairman, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences for considering this university for granting it an accreditation for the above mentioned cause.

He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Dr Ved Prakash Mishra, Pro Chancellor of the university and Sagar Meghe, Principal Advisor because of their efforts the university could get this prestigious accreditation. This hi-tech lab is one of its kind in the entire country having various mannequins, task trainers, mid and high fidelity simulators based on AI, AR, VR, holographic and haptic feedback technology giving the learner a feel which is very close to the actual

clinical environment.
