Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri honoured Madhya Pradesh in New Delhi on Thursday for doing remarkable work in PM Svanidhi Yojana. Additional Commissioner of Urban Administration and Development Awadhesh Sharma received the award. In the programme, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Manoj Joshi was also present. Significantly, Madhya Pradesh is at number one in the country in PM Swanidhi Yojana. Madhya Pradesh’s Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said that remarkable work is being done in all urban development schemes under the guidance of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The officers and employees of the department have been appreciated for this achievement. Progress in PM Swanidhi scheme 109 pc. A total of 7,31,517 cases have been approved in Madhya Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana. Out of these, loans have been disbursed in 7,8,894 cases against the target of 6,48,850 allotted to the State. The progress in the scheme is 109.25 per cent.
