‘KAAL Kare So Aaj Kar, Aaj Kare So Ab, Pal Mein Pralay Hogi, Bahuri Karega Kab’. Which means whatever has to be done tomorrow , do it today. Whatever is to be done today, do it right now. The world might end anytime. When will you do these things then. For that people who have delaying habit think “Aaj ka kam kal karo, kal ka kam parso, Itni jaldi kya hai bhai abhi to jeena hai barso”. Many times we want to read something but not reading it thinking you will do it next day and that day comes after many days for no specific reason. Usually delaying happens because of laziness, not prioritising things, casual approach etc. Missing out things: When we are delaying tasks/things we are missing many major opportunities/chances knowingly or unknowingly, which we realise very late in our lives. Delaying defeats equity: Delay defeats equity, a very popular phrase when it comes to judicial vocabulary. Which in their context means if there is a delay in any kind of judgement, it may affect the equity or the right of the person concerned. The same applies for our day to day lives.

The more delayed or laid back approach we have in our lives we are more prone to be affected by outcome in terms of unavailability of the desired of results. Delaying can lead to unwanted results. Suppose you have some plans or presumption regarding a particular situation and you are not taking required actions on time, so the results are going to be unprecedented. There is no such thing called right time. The present is the best time. Delaying can cause the loss of enthusiasm: Suppose you are planning to do some artwork or handmade items or a drawing or a poetry or any non artistic thing for that matter, and you are constantly delaying it for one or other reason. And finally you sit to do that thing. Mark my words the enthusiasm you had at the start will not be there. Do it at that moment only. Often we delay things in anticipation of more profit more better things to happen or more opportunities, but the importance of that moment and that time has its own fun.

It is not that you should not delay everything. There are some things you should always delay to prevent complications in life. Those are delays in behavioural issues. Delays can be divided in two parts, delay in tasks and delaying bad behaviour. Delaying tasks can have the results as mentioned above but delay in behaviour or delaying in some reactions can prove as a boon at times. Delay or pause reacting to unwanted situation. Life gives us innumerable situations that are not in our control, that actually doesn’t need our involvements, that in long run will probably not even affect our lives, that are temporary, that can be avoided, that are there to test our patience. But in all such situations we humans have to react, have to give our views. Pause there only, wait. Delay your so called valuable inputs for some time. Nobody cares. Things will fall in place. Delay your anger. Delay harsh words. Delay can be good when done in right place at right time.
