THE HRD Forum Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) and NIPM Nagpur Chapter jointly conducted a sessionon “Transformative HRM that understands intrinsic value of female employees” recently at VIA Auditorium, Civil Lines. The keynote speaker, Dr Ashwini Purohit, Director, City Premier College of Management, Nagpur and an HR professional with a total 22 years of work experience. In her presentation, Dr Purohit stressedonthe gender inequality and the biased nature of organisations inpromoting female employees across organisations, the world over. “The bias begins at entry level, dis allowing female employees to advance to then ext level at the same pace or accept an ceas the irmal ecounter parts. The “glass ceiling” is only the final hurdle,” shesaid. On the occasion of 44thFoundation Day of  NIPM, Nagpur Chapter, Prof SharadBhave also shared his wisdomon the ‘Back to Basics’. Neelam Bowade, Convener of  HRD Forum made an opening remark and conducted the proceedings. Dr Suresh Pandilwar, Co-Chairman of VIAHRD Forum summed up thesession and also proposed avote of thanks.
