A three-year-old girl lost her life after tumbling down a steel staircase at her home in Sadar area. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Khalasi Line, near Buddha Vihar. The deceased was identified as Shravanya Vishal Khobragade. According to police, Shravanya informed her mother that she needed to use the bathroom.

 

Being used to managing on her own, Shravanya’s mother allowed her to proceed. However, tragedy struck as the toddler lost her balance while navigating the steel staircase. She slipped and fell and sustained severe injuries from the impact. Shravanya was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital where she fought for her life for three days before succumbing to her injuries on March 20 at 8.30 pm. Sadar Police have registered a case of accidental death in connection with the incident.
