Several individuals were injured in a sudden attack by honeybees in a startling incident during the Sarul Sarna Puja Mahotsav event held at the Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram in Bagicha, Jashpur on Tuesday. Among the injured were former MLA Jageshwar Ram Bhagat and other attendees, who were promptly rushed to the District Hospital for medical attention. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai swiftly responded to the situation, personally visiting the District Hospital to inquire about the well-being of the injured. He instructed the medical staff to ensure that they receive appropriate treatment and extended prayers for their speedy recovery.

 

CM assured all possible assistance from the government to support those affected by the unfortunate incident. The Sarul Sarna Puja Mahotsav, attended by Chief Minister Sai, is a significant cultural event where devotees pay homage to Prakriti Devi and Dharti Mata, reflecting the tribal tradition of worshiping nature and seeking blessings for peace and prosperity. Tribal communities observe rituals such as the Sarhul Khaddi Puja, where they venerate trees, land, and deities like Mahadev-Parvati, praying for happiness, abundant rainfall, and successful harvests. Chief Minister took the opportunity to extend heartfelt greetings for Hindu Nav Varsha and Chaitra Navratri, emphasizing the importance of traditional festivities in fostering unity and celebrating cultural heritage.
