Aimed at bolstering support for his party in view of Lok Sabha elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit State on Thursday. Amid heightened political fervour, Amit Shah will address two public rallies, one at Mandla to support BJP candidate Faggan Singh Kulaste, and his another engagement is scheduled at Katni. As the political parties are vying to woo tribals, campaign trails has become intensified in the state. Arch rivals have fielded heavyweights to lead the campaign. On April 8, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed a public gathering in Mandla’s Dhanora village.
 
From Jabalpur’s Dumna Airport, Amit Shah will proceed for Mandla Police Ground by helicopter and Subsequently will address a public meeting. Before public meeting, Union Minister Shah will perform Maa Narmada Pujan and garland the statue of Rani Durgavati. In the afternoon, he will travel to Katni where he will offer prayer at Vijaynath Dham Mandir in the town and then he address a rally at the town, which comes under the Khajuraho Lok Sabha constituency. From this constituency BJP State President and Member of Parliament V D Sharma is in the fray.
