Collector Deepak Saxena has warned the officers concerned that any kind of irregularity will not be tolerated during the crops procurement works and stern action will be taken in case of finding any kind of irregularity. He was chairing a review meeting for preparations of crops procurement process at Collectorate Meeting Hall, on Wednesday. Collector, Saxena sought information about preparations at Procurement Centres and Godowns and strictly directed the officers that procurement of crops will be carried out after booking slots by the farmers. Farmers have no need to bring their crops at procurement centres without slot booking.
 
He has also instructed for bringing clean and quality wheat crops otherwise farmer will have to clean the crops with their own cost. In case of failed in cleaning of crops, such farmers will be given slips for bearing the cost of cleaning by the procurement committee. During the meeting, Collector sought information about current situation of godowns in all the development blocks and concerned officers were instructed for safely conducting the procurement works for avoiding any kind of complaint from farmers. Review of wheat procurement works was followed by discussion on election works and officers were given necessary directions for ensuring implementation of Election Model Code of Conduct.
