Chhattisgarhi film actor Suraj Meher tragically lost his life after his car collided with a pickup truck, while he was returning after shooting for his film on Wednesday morning. As per information received, his car collided with a pickup truck. The accident happened on the day before Suraj Meher’s engagement which was scheduled to take place in Odisha. The pickup truck coming from the Sarasiwa area near Pipedula, collided with his vehicle. He was 40. Suraj Meher, also known as Narad Meher, was returning from the shooting of his film ‘Aakhri Faisla’ when the accident occurred.
 
Suraj Meher mostly played roles of villain in Chhattisgarhi film industry. The accident occurred at Sarasiwa Pepardula village in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. Suraj Meher succumbed to his injuries on the spot. According to some reports, he was brought to the hospital in a critical condition, where doctors pronounced him dead. Another companion of Suraj Meher and the driver of the vehicle were also seriously injured in the accident. Both have been referred to Bilaspur for further medical attention. After family members were informed of the accident they rushed to the spot immediately. Suraj Meher was to get engaged in Bathli, Odisha in the evening on Wednesday. Suraj Meher was a resident of Sariya village in Bilaspur.
