BJP candidate and State BJP President levelled allegations against Congress for ignoring Bundelkhad progress. “Congress has done nothing for the development of Bundelkhand. people here had to face severe water scarcity. After 2014, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power, he worked diligently for the people of the region and due to his efforts; the region is now equipped with all the basic facilities. Under the leadership of PM Modi, the country has been accelerating on the path of development and will continue to do so. Our focus is all rural development and from a decade PM has worked for eradicating corruption and terrorism from the country.” State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Vishnu Dutt Sharma said that this while addressing a public meeting in Rajnagar legislative constituency in Khajuraho Parliamentary constituency. While addressing the meeting, he said that under ‘Nadi Jodo’ Scheme, PM has given a gift of Rs 44 thousand crore to the people of the state in the form of Ken Betwa Link Programme.

The scheme will serve as path breaking in the development of the region since it will facilitate irrigation and will prove to be a boon for the people coming from agrarian background. The government is continuously working for developing a network of electricity, water and roads in the region and will dedicate a civil hospital in Lavkush Nagar to the public. He emphasised that the country was suffering in the reign of Congress. Corruption and scandals were become common features but during government of PM Modi, there is no record of corruption and no such scam has been reported. In the previous government, repeated terror attacks were used to be the daily headlines of newspapers but in the present government, these activities have come to a halt. He mentioned that Bundelkhand is the land of King Chhatrasal and sage Agastya.

This was the place where Lord Ram killed demons. In the present election, the Congress has taken a back foot and Samajwadi Party (SP) has also taken its candidate back and a candidate from Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) is contesting the elections. The people should remember that these were the people who gave order to fire upon the devotees of Lord Ram and are those who are engaged in a politics of mobilization. The people will not allow these people to enter the region. PM Modi is working day and night to establish the country as Vishwaguru. He also urged the people to vote for the BJP. During his stay in the constituency, he also interacted with the beneficiaries of the schemes of the central government. Senior leaders and office bearers were also present during the same.
