After heavy rainfall and storm on Friday midnight, morning began with sunshine in State capital Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh is recording unseasonal rain, hailstorm in various parts for past five days. Weather Department has forecast the rain, hail and storm activities in all parts of State for next four days. On Friday afternoon, rainfall was recorded in Ujjain, Ratlam, Guna and a few other districts. Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), Bhopal, has released rain alert for 25 districts. Shivpuri, Ashok Nagar, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Sagar, Singrauli, Tikamgarh, Sheopurkala, Gwalior, Neemuch recorded lightening, thunder and storm at the rate of 50 kmph. There were also drizzling in the area. Weather scientists said that western disturbance, cyclonic circulation and trough line is making strong rain system and a western disturbance is already active in state due to which rain, storm will be continued for few more days.
 
On Thursday-Friday night, heavy rainfall and hail was recorded in Bhopal. Ratlam, Sagar, Chhindwara, Ujjain, Vidisha and few other districts also recorded the same situation. IMD said that after the current weather system passes away, summer would be at its peak with temperature soaring above 40 to 42 degrees Celsius. Maximum and minimum temperatures have declined in all parts of State. While in last week of March, day temperature crossed 40 degrees Celsius in most parts of State, the rainfall system has brought day temperature below 36 degrees Celsius in all parts of State. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 31.2 degrees Celsius, which was below normal mark while night temperature in the city was 21.0 degrees Celsius, a degrees more than normal mark. Gwalior recorded maximum temperature 39.2 degrees Celsius and minimum 23.2 degrees Celsius.
 
Indore recorded maximum temperature 33.1 degrees Celsius and minimum 23.1 degrees Celsius. Ujjain recorded maximum temperature 34.0 degree Celsius and minimum 20.5 degrees Celsius. Jabalpur recorded maximum temperature 32.4 degrees Celsius and minimum 23.6 degrees Celsius. IMD has released advisory for people to stay safe from the storm, lightening and thunder. Scientists said that hail and storm would be spoiling the crops of farmers so it is better to keep the crops covered and use all the ways for securing the crops. IMD said, do not feel safe under a tree and keep your door, window closed at home. Keep the electric appliance unplugged.
