Weather Department has released alert for thunder, lightning and rain in 15 districts of Madhya Pradesh. Met has forecast for wind likely to blow at 60 kmph. According to Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), heavy storm is likely to take place in Mandla, Chindwara, Damoh, Shivpuri, Anupur, Sheopur accompanies with lightning. Morena, Neemach, Mandsaur, Dindori, Umaria, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Vidisha and nearby areas recorded light rain during evening hours of Sunday. For past seven days, Madhya Pradesh is recording light to heavy rainfall in various districts. However the weather system is now becoming weak State capital Bhopal recorded bright sunshine on Sunday with partial clouds in sky during afternoon hours.
 
Till writing this report, weather condition in Bhopal remained hot and dry. Weather scientists said western disturbance, cyclonic circulation and trough line is making strong rain system and a western disturbance is already active in state due to which rain, storm will be continued for few more days. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 33.9 degree Celsius, which was below normal mark while night temperature in the city was 20.8 degree Celsius, a degree more than normal mark. Gwalior recorded maximum temperature 36.6 degree Celsius and minimum 22.2 degree Celsius. Indore recorded maximum temperature 35.4 degree Celsius and minimum 24.3 degree Celsius. Ujjain recorded maximum temperature 35.5 degree Celsius and minimum 22.5 degree Celsius. Jabalpur recorded maximum temperature 34.7 degree Celsius and minimum 19.8 degree Celsius.
 
IMD has released advisory for people to stay safe from the storm, lightning and thunder. Scientists said that hail and storm would be spoiling the crops of farmers so it is better to keep the crops covered and use all the ways for securing the crops. IMD said, do not feel safe under a tree and keep your door, window closed at home. Keep the electric appliance unplugged.
