State PWD Minister Rakesh Singh while addressing a press conference, on Monday said “the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Sankalp Patra (election manifesto) released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is spanning 76 pages and incorporates a wide range of subjects.” He said the manifesto committee received 15 lakh suggestions, including 4 lakh from the ‘Namo App’ and 10 lakhs from videos. Singh said the BJP is committed to fulfilling its promises and working towards the welfare of the people. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the manifesto represents a significant step towards a developed India. He said public trusts that if Modi guarantees something, it will be achieved. This aligns with the ideological foundation established by Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee in 1952 and further advanced by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. The PWD Minister said to ensure comprehensive coverage, the manifesto has been distributed among 24 groups, including the poor, youth, middle class, fishermen, marginalized groups, senior citizens, backward and weaker sections, within ten social groups. The document has also been divided into 14 sectors to address various governance aspects.
 
It covers topics such as India’s international relations, internal and external security, prosperity, ease of living, heritage development, good governance, health, education, sports, innovation, technology, and the environment. Singh said BJP’s Sankalp Patra provides an extensive overview of the achievements of NDA government and presents a vision for a developed India by 2047. It focuses on empowering youth, women, farmers and the poor; the pillars of a developed India. The party emphasizes both the quantity and quality of opportunities, aiming to ensure nutritious meals for those in need. He said in the manifesto BJP declares that free ration scheme will be continued for the next five years and the Ayushman Bharat scheme will be expanded to include all senior citizens above the age of 70, providing free healthcare services up to Rs 5 lakhs.
 
The State PWD Minister further said that the BJP is committed to women-led development. It recognizes the untapped potential of tourism in India and aims to connect global tourists with the country’s rich heritage, integrating it into World Heritage sites. It also intends to establish Thiruvallur Cultural Centers worldwide. He said the party prioritizes development of three types of infrastructure i.e. social, physical, and digital. It plans to build new satellite towns across the country to stimulate growth and create employment opportunities. The party’s manifesto reflects its willingness to make bold decisions in the national interest, with a focus on reforms, performance and transformation. It supports initiatives such as “One Nation, One Election” and the implementation of a Uniform Civil Code and has successfully passed laws such as the Women’s Reservation Act and the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
