“People of all castes and religions have benefitted from the development work done in Nagpur in these ten years. We never took up any work with focus on a particular caste, religion or creed. They benefit everyone. Great educational institutes came in Nagpur, industries came in MIHAN. Like other religions, the youth of the Muslim community are getting good education and employment there,” said Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Nagpur Lok Sabha, Nitin Gadkari. He said he constantly strove to add more to this and for the educational, economic and social progress of Muslim community.

Nitin Gadkari was addressing the public meeting held at Bada Taj Bagh. BJP City President Jitendra (Bunty) Kukde, Tajbagh Trust President Pyare Khan, Mohsin Jafar Khan, Saheb Khan, Tanveer Ahmed, Mustafa Topiwala, Rashid Qazi, Ashraf Khan, Imran Taji, Mobin Taji were present on this occasion. Gadkari assured that he won’t allow the poor to suffer while developing Taj Bagh. “Taj Bagh has been beautified. But more work needs to be done here. Rs 1 crore has been given from my fund recently. Instructions have been given to develop good playgrounds for children from poor families in the Muslim community. It is necessary to maintain law and order in this place, so that women and youths can stay safe.

There is a plan to build a big hospital in the name of Saint Tajuddin Baba here. The poor will get good treatment there,” he said. “No one's house or hotel will be demolished while developing Taj Bagh. There is an effort to provide good housing to the people living here, to build a mall for shops, so that men and women here should be able to earn employment with the strength of their skills. The people of the Muslim community should give good education to their children and develop their skills. It is necessary to acquire knowledge of English along with Urdu. Many of our Muslim youths here got employment in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai because they acquired soft skills,” pointed out Gadkari.
