“SELF-LOVE, my liege, is not so vile a sin, as self-neglecting.” – William Shakespeare “WITH Love” all of us use this famous phrase in our life to show how much we love, and how important he/she is to us, It could be a soul mate, sibling, child, friend, country, place, etc., but did we ever addressed these phrases to our self? the probable answer is NO ! As Shakespeare explains in this wonderful quote“Self-love, my liege, is not so vile a sin, as self-neglecting”. Self-love is not something to be ashamed of or seen as selfish. Instead, it’s portrayed as a positive quality that contributes to one’s wellbeing and happiness. On the other hand, self-neglecting is prone to more damaging and harmful. Neglecting oneself can lead to various negative consequences, such as poor mental and physical health, low self-esteem, challenges in social life, and strained relations. We cannot dismiss the value of being selfless and caring for others. There shall be a healthy balance, we have to prioritise our own well-being without neglecting responsibilities and compassion for others. “Self-love” some sometimes mistaken as narcissism. But “Self-Love” is the foundation for a healthy, happy life, it is to be practiced with moderation and subtleness. Sometimes it is essential to say “NO”, Using own wit to say “YES” or “NO” to others’ desires/demands is vital, Learning to politely decline unreasona b l e requests is a crucial aspect of “ Self - Love”.
 
It empowers you to manage time and energy, This isn’t selfishness; it’s setting healthy boundaries. Finding the right balance between self-love and caring for others is key. Stepping outside your comfort zone for loved ones is admirable, but only when it aligns with your own well-being. Why Now? Radiating love to the world around us by being an epicenter is essential, first Love yourself and resonate ample love to society, As one neglects self and dedicates his whole time to others will have to face challenges related to health, stressful life, financial crunches, and more Importantly lose his quality time to for life lifetime.
