Superintendent of Police, Aditya Pratap Singh (IPS) briefed the police personnel, at Police Line Ground, about their responsibilities in ensuring strict enforcement of Model Code of Conduct by fair, transparent and fearless polling for the General Election – 2024 in the district, on Wednesday. Police officers and personnel were instructed for keeping vigilant eye on suspicious elements and activities before and during the polling. Police should take prompt action against any kind of objectionable activity and informing their senior officers. Impartial and fearless polling is the responsibility of police for strengthening the democracy.

 

SP Aditya Pratap Singh directed the officers and personnel for implementing the directions of Election Commission of India and Madhya Pradesh Police Headquarters. Additional SP (City), Sonakshi Saxena (IPS), Additional SP (Crime), Summer Verma, Additional SP (Traffic), Pradeep Kumar Shende, Additional SP (Rural), Suryakant Sharma, officers and personnel of Para Military Force, Special Armed Force and district force deployed in sector mobiles and polling stations were present in good numbers.
