Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a mammoth election rally in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh on Friday and appealed to people to realise their responsibility to vote and all must vote in upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Prime Minister was in Damoh for an election rally in support of BJP candidate Lok Sabha seat Rahul Singh Lodhi. He said during the pandemic, NDA Government’s top priority was well-being of all and hence we worked with the spirit of ‘Nation First’ and this could be done only by a strong government. He gave an example to neighbouring country which is promoter of terror, which in present scenario is struggling for basic commodities like flour and on contrary India is on the path of great progress. This has been possible due to decisive voting of people of the country.

PM Modi informed the gathering that earlier Congress Government weakened India’s defence sector due to its policies. Congress stalled various defence deals including Rafale and Tejas fighter. He criticised Congress for opposing ‘Atmanirbharta’ of India in defence sector.” PM Modi said he guarantees to take development works to the last person in thesociety and to fulfill all the guarantees.” He said, “Har Ghar Jal’ & ‘Har Khet ko Pani’ is our priority.” Showcasing brave Nari Shakti of MP and India, Modi said, “Rani Damyanti is the brave symbol of Damoh’s Nari Shakti.” Criticising I.N.D.I alliance, PM Modi said, “Modi’s guarantee has given sleepless nights to I.N.D.I alliance.” He added, “Bundelkhand is the land of ‘Ram Rajya’ and Rashtrabhakti.”

He said that despite this, I.N.D.I alliance boycotted Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram and compared ‘Sanatana’ with dengue and malaria’. He added, “I.N.D.I alliance called all people worshipping Shri Ram’s Surya Tilak ‘Hypocrites’.” At the end, PM Modi remarked that voting for I.N.D.I alliance will not fetch anybody anything, while a vote for BJP-NDA will enable creation of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ and an India that will cater to the needs of all sections in the future. He also thanked people of Damoh for their overwhelming support and expressed his confidence in their support to the BJP-NDA in the Lok Sabha elections.
