The Bhopal Traffic Police has imposed traffic diversions for three days from April 22 as part of preparation for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow on April 24. These diversions will be in effect from 2 pm to 7 pm on April 22 and 23. The Bhopal Traffic Police has issued an advisory detailing the road closures and diversion. These traffic diversion will be in places to ensure smooth movements of the VVIP convoy and manage public gathering for the road show. Vehicles going from Mata Mandir to Roshanpura are diverted from Mata Mandir to Polytechnic intersection through Geetanjali Chairaha, Depot Chairaha, and Smart City Road. Vehicles coming from Rangmahal to Lily Talkies are suggested to go from Rangmahal to Palasa Tiraha, KL Pradhan, Machhli Ghar, Khatlapura, and PHQ to Lily Talkies.

 

All types of goods carriers, heavy, commercial and permitted vehicles will be prohibited from moving from Narsingarh Tiraha to Lalghati VIP Road Polytechnic to Gandhi Park, Mata Mandir Rangmahal to Bharat Talkies Hamidia Road from 2 pm to 7 pm on both days. The diversions will be in effect for public transport vehicles and general vehicles also. Two-wheelers and four-wheelers heading towards Bharat Talkies from Rangmahal crossroads will be able to go towards Bharat Talkies by Banganga, Machhli Ghar, Khatlapura, PHQ Tiraha, Lily Talkies. Minibuses and big buses going towards the Railway Station and bus Stand from TT Nagar will be able to go through Mata Mandir Link Road No. 02, Arjun Nagar (Parashuram Chauraha) 1250 Chauraha, Board Office Chauraha, DB Mall, Press Complex, BSNL Tiraha, in front of EOW Office, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Mainda Mill Tiraha, Subhash Nagar ROB Bridge, Prabhat Chauraha, Bogdapul and go via Bharat Talkies to reach their destination.

 

Two-wheelers and four-wheelers going towards Rangmahal from Bharat Talkies will be able to go towards Rangmahal through Lily Talkies ,PHQ Tiraha, Khatlapura, Machhli Ghar and Banganga. Minibuses and big buses coming from bus stand and railway station towards TT Nagar, New Market will be able to go to their destination through Bharat Talkies by Pul Bogda, Prabhat Chauraha, Subhash Nagar ROB Bridge, Maida Mill Tiraha, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.-1, in front of EOW Office, BSNL Tiraha, Press Complex, DB Mall, Board Office Square. The Traffic Police has appealed to the public to co-operate with the traffic arrangements and to avoid unnecessary travel on the days of the roadshow.
