Asked on a query on the appeal to the workers to file nomination, Bhupesh Baghel said, “I had told this to the workers in Patan and it is true that there is doubt about EVMs. The public also wants elections through ballot. I am still saying that elections should be held through ballot only.” The BJP government at the Centre has adopted many tactics to stop Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. But the Centre and the BJP are continuously getting setbacks from the SC. The public will also get justice from the court. The public will teach a lesson to the BJP in the elections, he added. Meanwhile, former Minister and Congress candidate from Mahasamund Lok Sabha seat Tamradhwaj Sahu also filed his nomination at Mahasamund Collectorate on Tuesday.
