A casual dinner at a hotel turned into a nightmare for a woman as a group of three men chased her to her residence late at night. Sadar Police have registered a case of molestation and launched a hunt for the accused.According to the police, a group of women had gone to Hotel Ashoka in Sadar for dinner on April 22 night. At the same time, three men were occupying another table. The trio kept staring at the women. When the women left the hotel, the three followed them to the parking area. One of the women got into her car and started heading towards her home. The accused persons also got into an XUV 700 SUV (without a registration number) and started chasing her. While following her for almost four kilometers in traffic, the accused attempted to block her car. They even made obscene gestures towards her.

 

The woman was in a state of shock and somehow managed to reach her house. However, the accused did not stop there. One of them came out of the SUV and went up to the lobby of the woman’s house. The woman observed the movement of the accused through the CCTV footage and informed her husband about the incident. Sadar Police registered a case of molestation based on the woman’s complaint. Senior police officers took the matter seriously and launched a manhunt for the accused. Since the SUV did not have a registration number, the police have not been able to find any clues about the accused. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone II Rahul Madne stated that they have circulated the picture of the accused captured in the CCTV footage. The DCP also appealed citizens to approach the police if they identify the culprit or have any related information.
