Former Chief Minister and BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on Thursday, addressed a public meeting in the support of the local candidate of the party Darshan Singh Choudhary. Chouhan said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is accelerating on the path of development. The Modi Government removed Article 370 and the country has now reached moon. The world is now looking upon the country as a global power and to be on this path, everyone should elect PM Modi as their Prime Minister for the third time. This is a great for the country to be developed as the third largest economy in the world, to rise as a developed country and to establish the country as Vishwa Guru. For that it is necessary to vote for PM Modi, he said.

 

Senior leaders of the party and office-bearers were also present during the address of the former Chief Minister. He said that the party always gives ticket to those who work tirelessly for the people. The local candidate is also one such personality who will be working day and night for the development of the area. While addressing the meeting, Chouhan said that today is the birth anniversary of veteran leader Makhanlal Chaturvedi and being present on his birth land is an honour itself. It was the BJP Government that renamed Babai to Makhannagar and Hoshangabad to Narmadapuram. He appealed the people there that we should such record such majority in the elections which could set an example in the country.

 

He mentioned that the INDIA alliance has no strategy and leader. After independence, Mahatma Gandhi said that the objective of the Congress was fulfilled when the country achieved independence. Jawaharlal Nehru didn’t comply with the words of Gandhi but now it seems that Rahul Gandhi has pledged to destroy the party, with his own deeds. He emphasised that Ram is a devotional figure of the country. He is worshipped in all parts of the country and even by those who are settled in different parts of the world. After a wait of 500 years, Ram temple was consecrated by PM Modi in Ayodhya. The invitation for the holy occasion was also sent to Congress but the party rejected the invitation shamelessly playing on the devotion of the people. Due to this, various leaders of Congress are now joining hands with the BJP.
