The pair of Sunil Gadivan and Neelima Mujumdar clinched the mixed doubles title during the Yonex Sunrise Nagpur District Amateur Summer Badminton Tournament. The tournament was organised by Nagpur District Badminton Association at Subhedar Hall. After getting walkover in their earlier match, the pair of Gadivan and Mujumdar defeated the pair of Prajwal Mahatme and Kirti Gujarkar in a one sided battle for the crown. They had to fight it out to win the first game 15-11 but in the second the duo played well to record an easy 15-3. The final lasted only 11 minutes with Gadivan and Mujumdar dominating the game. Earlier, they got walk over Anil Gadiwan Kirti Gadiwan. In the first round, Prajwal Mahatme and Kirti Gujarkar too moved into the final with a walkover with Anil and Kirti failing to turn up for their match.
