THE second day of the Residential Archery Summer Camp organised by Ojas Foundation at Gumgaon, in Hingna taluka of Nagpur was graced by international archer Aman Saini and World Cup Stage winner Prathmesh Javakar. Both the archers interacted with the participants and guided them with new techniques of archery during the interaction session. While, on Day 3, World Cup Stage-1 gold medal winner in the team event Prathamesh Fuge and women archer Aditi Goswami visited the 10-day residential summer camp and motivated the participants and asked them to continue with the game in future.

 

The foundation also felicitated all the international players during their visit to the camp. Prathamesh Fuge while interacting with the participants said, “This is for the first time in India that a residential camp has been organised for archery. Ojas Foundation is doing a good job and this is a great opportunity for new archers to learn and go ahead from here. It is really good to see that participants from difference parts of India have registered themselves for this programme and I feel this camp will create a good impact and will attract new players towards this game.

 

“Archery is a game of concentration. It needs a lot of hard work and patience. I feel camp like this should be arranged in every city of nation so that India will get new archers and this will help the game in its growth. I wish Ojas foundation luck and hope they will continue to take such camps in future also,” Fuge added. In this camp the players are also guided by international coach Pravin Sawant.
