RIDING on Taniya Bawane’s brace, Mahayouth Club blanked Cradle Sports Academy by three goals to nil in the ongoing JSW NDFA Women’s League at Dr Ambedkar Football Stadium in Suyog Nagar on Thursday. In a one-sided battle, Bawane scored the opener in 22nd minute of play. She then doubled the lead. Four minutes later, in the 36th minute Yukta Borkar scored another one for the winning side to make it 3-0. Mahayouth Club players did well to keep the lead intact till the final whistle. In KickFlicks NDFA Under-13 Inter-Academy Boys Football Tournament, Faiz Khan scored twice as SFS Football Academy crushed Cradle Sports Academy 5-0.

 

Samuel Francis gave SFS Football Academy lead in the 6th minute of play. After that Faiz Khan scored twice in 16th and 30th minutes for the side to give them an easy win. Yash Jethwani (26th) and Kaunain Qureshi (27th) were the other goal scorers for SFS Football Academy. Cradle side’s Shourja (31st) was cautioned during the match. In another match, Central Railway Academy beat Orange City Academy 3-0. Lucky Barkat found the net twice in 10th and 38th minutes. Lucky Rawat also registered his name on the score sheet in the 13th minute for the winners.
