HI FI EVENT, official meeting, social gathering, fun fair etc., is always there now in this modern day world and necessary for economic advancements, socially responsive life and also for the sake of fun. There is something more distinct from all the above and equally essential that work as a tonic, fill the heart with joy and take us into a blissful state. Even the words in the dictionary sometimes will fall short to describe in totality the divine/memorable experience that we gain at a few places and also carry them, to cherish for life. There was a grand carnatic classical music concert performed by a renowned violin maestro. We were seated almost in the last row in the auditorium, a position that is obviously away from the centre-stage. As the soulful rendition crossed the midway stage and the atmosphere inside the hall turned electrifying; it just struck to my mind at once and turning to my better half had whispered in her ears that the performing artiste could as well do now rendering the famous Ram Dhun “Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram…..” that has a transforming effect on our body & minds. The knowledgeable audience unmindful of the late night hours remained firmly seated deeply immersed in the captivating music.

 

Almost instantly there was a wonder happening and the performing artiste answered my mind. I shared my experience with the maestro soon after the concert was over and her radiant smile reflected everything that she wanted to convey and the rest is a matter of guessing for one. Call it, therefore, a divine miracle, telepathy or emotional connect; the fact remains that it was an unforgettable and spiritually elevating experience, to cherish for life. There was an invite from Veda Patashala. Interestingly, this call from the Veda Patashala was again a pleasant surprise as it was already occurring in my mind. One may perhaps call it an intuition. The young minds exposed to the spiritual world and their glowing faces with energy levels filled to the brim speak of it, in entirety. I was touched and seized by the atmosphere of tranquillity and serene beauty all around the place and also felt blessed. Change is constant. Times have changed now; the world around has changed and will keep changing, forever. The fast pace of change in recent times, however, is outstanding. What is new today perhaps can quickly become outdated tomorrow. Undoubtedly, this change has brought about many astonishing developments in terms of information technology and communication revolution, unprecedented advancements in the fields of science and medicines and incredible innovations that have simply transformed our lives for the better thereby also drawing the people much closer.

 

At the same time it is sad that there is also a growing level of intolerance, indiscipline and insensitivity, which are pervading the atmosphere. Career growth, meeting aspiration, and periodical knowledge updations are a must to stay afloat in this intensely competitive world but simultaneous spiritual growth is equally vital to build enormously the power of concentration, keep one’s mind cool, balanced that at the same time also develops the ability to read someone else’s mind. Spiritual maturity will ensure an all round growth and become an accomplished person and a man of values. India is a spiritually rich & culturally strong country and is widely recognised as one of the major spiritual destinations in the world. The people in general and Gen-Y in particular must capitalise on them by also getting exposed to the spiritual and cultural India and stay spiritually enriched, to reap the immense benefits accruing on it. Life is a divine miracle of bliss and blessing. It is a precious gift for humanity and one must constantly strive hard to acquire it. There is an inspiring quote “Hope is praying for rain, but faith is bringing an umbrella”. Unshakeable faith in God is all we need to stay connected with the inner self - the god who dwells within. The moment you get soaked into divinity; everything looks bright and beautiful and can seek all that you desire eventually ending up with a blissful experience. Progression then is wholesome and automatic.
