DISHA Kasat led from the front with an all-round show to take Team B to summit clash of the VCA-organised Women’s Guzder League T20 Tournament on Tuesday. Disha Kasat (3/7), along with Saloni Rajput (3/10) and Neha Barbade (2/12) bowled well in tandem to bundle out Team G for 98 in 19.3 overs. Disha remained unbeaten on 36 and was assisted by Snehal Maniyar (24) and Pragati Suryawanshi (25) as Team B reached 99/2 in just 13.3 overs. Team A will clash with Team B in the final of the Women’s Guzder League T20 Tournament 2023-24 at the SB City College Ground on Thursday. At the conclusion of the league matches on Tuesday, Team B, led by Disha ended up on top of the table with 28 points, having won all their seven league matches. Team A, led by Bharti Fulmali, finished second with 24 points. Team A, who lost to Team B in the league stage, will be looking to avenge that defeat in the final.
