ST VINCENT Pallotti School emerged champions of the Under-17 boys and girls hockey tournament organised by District Sports Office under the aegis of The Nagpur District Hockey Association. In the boys section Pallotti defeated Dinanath High School a solitary goal via shoot-out.

 

After playing a goalless draw in regulation time, Pallotti scored the goal through Rehant Chokhandre. None of Dinanath boys managed to score. In the girls section, St Vincent Pallotti beat St Ursula 3-2 via shoot-out. In the tie-breaker, Iqra Ansari and Sejal Rode scored for Pallotti while Avani Talandi and Vaishnavi Madavi scored for St Ursula. In sudden death, only Sejal scored for Pallotti. Dinanath High School boys walked away with the Under-19 title as SFS College did not turn up for the final. Similarly in the U-19 girls category, Dinanath were awarded the title.
