A tragic road accident claimed lives of a mother and her young daughter near Lamheta Bypass under the jurisdiction of Tilwara Police Station. The deceased have been identified as Ragini Bhoomiya (26) and their daughter Subanya Bhoomiya (8), residents of near Bam Bam Dhaba in Bargi.

 

A man named Santilal Bhoomiya (30), a resident near Bam Bam Dhaba, Bargi, informed that the accident occurred when his cousin Santosh Bhoomiya was travelling on a motorcycle (MP-20-NN-7129) with his wife Ragini Bhoomiya (26) and their daughter Subanya Bhoomiya (8) to their relatives’ home in Bhedaghat.

 

As they reached the Lamheta Bypass intersection, a speeding and recklessly driven Hyva truck without a registration number struck their motorcycle from behind and then climbed onto the road divider. Lamheta by-pass, police reached the spot and rushed the injured at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared the woman and her daughter brought dead. Police sent the bodies for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama. TIlwara police have registered intimation while further investigation is underway to ascertain reason behind the accident.
