PM Modi and Union Home Shah to participate in the inaugural session of the conference  
 
A three-day national Conference of Directors General of Police (DGPs) / Inspectors General of Police (IGPs) will be held at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nava Raipur Atal Nagar from November 28 to 30. Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel chaired a high-level meeting with the senior officers at Mantralaya, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar on Friday. The Chief Secretary reviewed the preparations for the national conference of the DGPs/IGPs. He instructed the officials to complete all the preparations for the conference on time and ensure excellent arrangements. Chief Secretary Sheel informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah would participate in the inaugural programme of the conference. He directed to immediately appoint various nodal officers for smooth conduct of the event. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary asked to pay special attention to the transportation, security, medical facilities and accommodation arrangements of the delegates coming to the conference venue.
 
He directed to ensure high level facilities for the guests at Circuit House, Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration and other places in Raipur. Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department Manoj Kumar Pingua, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Forces) V Sreenivasa Rao, Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence) Amit Kumar and other officers from Police Department, Public Works Department, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Vikas Pradhikaran, Culture Department, Panchayat and Rural Development Department and other departments attended the meeting.
