A female teacher from a private school took her own life by hanging herself at her residence in the Shahpura Police Station area of the State capital on Friday morning. Police recovered a suicide note from the spot, which has been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
According to information received from the police, the deceased, identified as Monika (29), daughter of Prem Narayan, was a teacher at a private school and resided in Trilanga Colony.
Her father is posted at the State Assembly. Monika was living with her younger brother after her elder sister got married.
The tragic incident came to light woke up and found her hanging in the hall room. The Shahpura Police were immediately informed.
The police team arrived at the scene, took the body into custody, and handed it over to the family after conducting a post-mortem examination.

Thakur, confirmed the incident, stating that they received the information around 6 am.
Police have seized Monika’s suicide note, which reportedly states that she is “committing suicide by choice” and asks the police “not to harass the family.”
Police have filed a case of death and are conducting a detailed investigation into the reasons behind the suicide. Statements from family
members and close associates are being recorded to determine why she took this extreme step.
