BJP State President Kiran Singh Deo listened to the 127th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme with rural workers at booth number 178 of Gram Panchayat Pandripani in Nangur Mandal under the Jagdalpur Assembly constituency on Sunday.
On this occasion, Kiran Singh Deo said that through Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly connects with the 1.4 billion citizens of the country, inspiring them to contribute to nation-building. He urged everyone to draw inspiration from the Prime Minister’s thoughts and strengthen their resolve to serve the nation with dedication and sincerity.
During the programme, Prime Minister Modi described Chhath, the great festival associated with nature, as a symbol of devotion, affinity, and tradition, and extended greetings to all countrymen on the occasion. He made special mention of Bastar, saying that the region, once affected by Maoist terror, is now illuminated by the light of peace
this Diwali.
Prime Minister Modi also appreciated the unique initiative in Ambikapur, where citizens can exchange plastic waste for a meal at a garden café, an innovative step in promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness.
Remembering Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man who unified India, the Prime Minister called upon all citizens to participate in the Run for Unity on October 31, marking his 150th birth anniversary.
He also noted that the national song Vande Mataram will complete 150 years on November 7, and various programmes will be held nationwide to commemorate the occasion. Additionally, he urged people to celebrate Tribal Pride Day with great enthusiasm on November 15 in honour of Lord Birsa Munda.
