Aboli Vijay Jarit, 22, a resident of Dhantoli, Nagpur, will be conferred with the prestigious National Award for Individual Excellence (Category 1 - Sarvashreshtha Divyangjan) by President Droupadi Murmu on December 3 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. The recognition celebrates her exceptional determination and achievements despite significant physical challenges.
Born with chronic kidney disease and a locomotor disability, Aboli also lives without a urinary bladder, a condition that would discourage many.
Yet, she has defied all odds with an indomitable spirit and infectious positivity that inspires everyone around her.
Speaking to ‘The Hitavada’, Aboli expressed immense joy and gratitude for the honour. “I am very happy,” she said with a radiant smile. Her parents, Vanita and Vijay Jarit, are overwhelmed with pride, calling the award a reflection of their daughter’s courage and perseverance.
Known for her cheerful personality and “never say never” attitude, Aboli continues to prove that true strength lies not in physical ability but in resilience and hope. Her story stands as a shining example of determination, inspiring many across the nation to face life’s challenges with grace and grit.
