The four-day exhibition will be held at RTMNU ground on Amravati Road
The Agrovision Agriculture Exhibition, conceptualized by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is set to begin from November 21. This year, the event will be held in a grand format at the ground of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) on Amravati Road.
The inauguration of the mega event will be held on November 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the hands of Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Gadkari will preside over the function. Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharane, Minister of State for Agriculture Ashish Jaiswal, Minister of State for Cooperation Dr Pankaj Bhoyar, NDDB Chairman and Managing Director Dr Minesh Shah, UPL Co-CEO Vikram Shroff, SML Group Founder Deepak Shah, TAFE Group Chairman T R Kesavan, Sonalika Joint Managing Director Raman Mittal, Mahindra (Farm Equipment Sector) President Vijay Ram Nakra, and
NTPC Samarth Mission Director Anil Baveja will be the
distinguished guests.
Agrovision will remain open for visitors from November 21 to 24, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily. Workshops for farmers will be held from noon to 5 p.m.
On November 21, a special workshop on “Dairy – Fodder Management, New Technologies, and Processing” will feature Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Pankaja Munde as the chief guest at 1 p.m. A national seminar on “Beekeeping related to the Oilseed Campaign” will also be organised the same day in collaboration with the
MSME Institute.
On November 22, a special workshop on “Startups in the Agriculture Sector” will take place in association with STPI, with Maharashtra Minister for Marketing and Protocol Jaykumar Rawal as chief guest.
On November 23, a special workshop on “Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)” will be conducted, with Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Jaykumar Gore and Sahyadri Farms Chairman Vilas Shinde in attendance.
Apart from this, the exhibition will also witness many other workshops, said Organizing Secretary Ravi Bortkar while addressing a press meet on Tuesday. Ramesh Mankar and Agrovision Foundation members Sudhir Dive, Vijay Jadhav, Captain L B Kalantari, Samay Bansod, Prashant Kukde, Dr Hitendra Singh, Nitin Kulkarni, and Prashant Vasade were also present during the meet.
