Triple triumph for Ishwari
 
 
NAGPUR’S budding para swimmer Ishwari Pande clinched three medals with two gold and one silver at the 25th National Para Swimming Championship organised by Para Olympic Sports which concluded at the GMC Balayogi International Swimming Complex, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Competing in the S-11 Junior Category, the visually impaired swimmer delivered remarkable timings winning the yellow metal at the 50 metres backstroke finishing the race in just a minute and 13 seconds.
 
While in the freestyle 100 metres category, she crossed the line in 2 minutes and 21 seconds to clinch silver medal. Ishwari also bagged the gold medal in 50 metres breaststroke with a time of 1 minute 28 seconds. Ishwari trains at NIT Swimming Pool, under the expert guidance of NIS swimming coach Sanjay Batwe, representing the Shark Aquatic Sporting Association, Nagpur. Her achievements have been widely appreciated by parents, swimming lovers, fellow swimmers, and para-athletes.
