The much-awaited Silk Fab
2025 wedding special sale and exhibition is going on here at South Central Zone Cultural Centre, opposite the MLA
Hostel, Civil Lines. The exhibition will remain open daily from 11am to 9pm for the visitors till November 25.
The exhibition features 70 stalls displaying a dazzling array of cotton and silk creations from across the country. Visitors can explore hand-woven cotton fabrics, exquisite silk sarees, dress materials, suits, stoles, kurtas, dupattas and a curated selection of fashion jewellery and home-decor items.
Special discounts are available on select pieces, and many products are offered directly by the artisans, ensuring authentic quality at prices below market rates. The showcase highlights regional specialties such as Bhagalpuri and Tussar silk from Bihar, Lucknowi chikankari from Uttar Pradesh, Banarasi silk from
Uttar Pradesh, Maheshwari and Chanderi silk from Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat’s Patola and Kutch embroidery,
Rajasthan’s block-printed fabrics, Karnataka’s silk sarees, Bangalore silk, and the famed sarees of Jammu & Kashmir, among others, says a
press release.
The event, which offers free entry and ample parking, aims to blend traditional handloom craftsmanship with contemporary lifestyle, giving shoppers a chance to purchase premium textiles and home-decor at affordable prices.
The organissers of the exhibition have appealed to the citizens to visit the mega event and take advantage of it before it concludes on November 25.
