CONSTITUTION Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm by the National Service
Scheme unit, Indian Knowledge
Tradition Cell and the Education
Department of local G S College
(Autonomous) on Wednesday.
The event was organised in presence of the college’s Principal, Dr.
Naresh Chandra Tripathi, Vice
Principals, Dr Shiv Kumar Vyas
and Dr Gyanendra Tripathi.
Vice-Principal, Dr Vyas and
Vice-Principal, Dr Tripathi stated that our Constitution is the
world’s largest and most remarkable handwritten document in
Hindi and English.
Its a great legislation that unites millions of
people from different languages
and cultures. Principal Dr Naresh
Chandra Tripathi expressed that
the purpose of celebrating
Constitution Day is to foster
respect for constitutional values—justice, liberty, equality and
fraternity in every citizen.
This day honors the incomparable dedication and tireless
efforts of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar.
During second phase, a quiz
based on the Constitution was
organised by Dr Sunita Upadhyay
with enthusiastic participation
of the students and teachers.
At
the end, the Principal read the
Preamble of the Constitution and
administered the oath to the professors and students. The programme was conducted by Dr
Neeraj Kumar Kesharwani, while
a vote of thanks was given by Dr
Ashok Banerjee.
