THE Swami Vivekanand Career Guidance and Placement Cell organised an awareness work shop on ‘Swadeshi Awareness: Make in India’ on Wednesday at Government Science College (Autonomous), Jabalpur. The workshop was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Dr. Shikha Saxena who addressed the students about importance of awareness and explained that by adopting indigenous products under "Make in India" campaign, we can strengthen the country's economy and promote local industries.
Dr. Jaya Bajpai, in-charge, Executive Committee, informed about various areas of promot ing indigenous products locally, such as agriculture, textiles, khadi, pharmaceuticals, and hand looms. She emphasized that youth should play an active role in creating employment opportuni ties in local industries and bringing indigenous products to the market. The young entrepreneur associated with modeling field, Priyanka Patel Gurjar shared the challenges and struggles of her personal life and how she trav eled from an ordinary woman to a recognized and well-known personality.
Dr. Pratibha Gaur and Dr. Rajshree Kapoor welcomed and introduced the inviteddigni taries. Professor RPS Chandel, Dr. Usha Masram, Dr. Reenu Sharma, Dr. Anil Binjhiya, and Dr. Rishabh Tiwari actively supported the workshop. The workshop was successfully concluded with the efforts of Dr. Manish Sharma and Dr. Suman Prabhakar, in-charge of Swadeshi awareness and pro motion of ‘Make in India’ cam paign. The students participated enthusiastically and understood the importance of Swadeshi products.
