UNDER the direction of SP
Dindori, Vahani Singh, a day
long health camp and nutrition
workshop was successfully
organised at the Police Lines,
Dindori.
Dr Vijay Jhare, Dr Khushboo
Gulwani, District AYUSH
Department, Dindori, and Rohit
Jain, Manager, State Bank of India
Life Insurance, were present as
the chief guests.
Officers present at the work
shop included SDOP Satish
Dwivedi, SHO, Kotwali, SHO,
Gadasarai, SHO, Mehendwani,
SHO, Women police station,
Incharge RI Kunwar Singh Oladi
and others were present.
As many
as 114 officers/employees
attended the event. During the workshop, doctors
from the AYUSH Department
provided detailed information
on: The importance of a balanced
diet and daily routine, prevention
of common health problems
faced by women, the ‘do’s and
don’ts’ according to Ayurvedic
science, and the use of herbs and
Ayurvedic medicines.
The doctors encouraged all
police personnel present to prioritise health in their busy sched
ules and to stay healthy by adopt
ing small Ayurvedic remedies.Rohit Jain, Manager, SBI Life
Insurance, provided detailed
information on the topic ‘Your
Dreams, Your Goals, and a
Complete Financial Plan for Life’.
He highlighted the importance
of life security, future financial
preparation, retirement plan
ning, and timely investments.
As part of the programme,
health checkups were conduct
ed for all officers and employees
present, including blood pres
sure, sugar levels, BMI, and gen
eral physical checkups.The main objective of this
workshop was to raise health
awareness among police per
sonnel, provide information
related to lifestyle, improve men
tal and physical health, and provide guidance on financial security and future planning.
