A CAMP was organised on Tuesday
at the PG College auditorium in
Narsinghpur for the identification
and assessment of persons with
disabilities and senior citizens,
with the aim of providing them
with assistive devices under the
Government of India’s ALIMCO
ADIP and Vayoshri schemes. The
camp was held in the presence of
former Minister of State, Jalam
Singh Patel, Ramsnehi Pathak,
other public representatives, and
Collector, Rajni Singh.
In the camp, 228 persons with
disabilities and senior citizens
were identified for the provision
of assistive devices.
During this
time, persons with disabilities
and senior citizens were assessed
for walking sticks, tricycles,
wheelchairs, hearing aids, waist
and kneebelts, etc. Sunil Kothari,
Sandhya Kothari, Anand Dubey,
Deputy Director of Social Justice
Anjana Tripathi, physiotherapists
Dr Dhananjay Patel and Dr
Rajendra Soni, along with other
officers and staff, were present
on the occasion.
Deputy Director of Social
Justice, Tripathi informed that
identification and assessment
camps will be held at Sukhakheri
Gram Panchayat under Chichli
Janpad Panchayat on December
11, at Shahpur Gram Panchayat
on December 12, and at Saikheda
Janpad Panchayat under
Saikheda Janpad Panchayat on
December 13
