MADHYA Pradesh Chief
Minister, Dr Mohan Yadav
arrived in Chhindwara on
Tuesday. He went to Agarwal
Palace on Narsinghpur Road to
attend the wedding ceremony
of the son of District BJP
President, Sheshrao Yadav. The
Chief Minister congratulated
the bride and groom and
offered his blessings. Several
senior leaders, including State
PWD and In-charge Minister,
Rakesh Singh and Panchayat
and Rural Development
Minister, Prahlad Patel, were
also present.
Upon his arrival at the
Chhindwara airstrip, the Chief
Minister was welcomed by BJP
leaders and workers. The workers displayed considerable
enthusiasm during the wel
come.
Speaking briefly to the media
at the airstrip, the Chief Minister
commented on the recent sur
render of Naxalites and men
tioned the schemes being run
by the government.
However,
when questions were raised
about the poor condition of the
maize crop in the district and
the procurement system, the
Chief Minister left for the event
venue without answering, leav
ing the journalists' questions
unanswered.
The Chief Minister's visit was
primarily for a private event, but
despite this, special attention
was paid to security and traf
fic arrangements in the city.
The event generated consider
able enthusiasm among local
BJP workers.
