NTPC Vindhyachal successfully
hosted its Project-Level Quality
Circle (QC) Convention, rein
forcing its strong commitment
to innovation, continuous
improvement, and employee
driven transformation. The event
began with a solemn lamp-light
ing ceremony by Sanjib Kumar
Saha, HOP, VSTPS, accompanied
by senior leaders A J Rajkumar,
GM (O&M), Satendra Kumar
Sinha, GM (Operation & FM),
and Debabrata Tripathy, GM
(TS). In his inspiring inaugural
address, Mr Saha applauded the
relentless efforts of the QC teams
and highlighted the critical role
of Quality Circles in fostering
operational excellence across the
station.
A total of 14 dynamic QC teams
showcased their innovative solutions to workplace challenges,
reflecting the culture of collaboration and problem-solving that
defines Vindhyachal. The presentations were eval
uated by an esteemed jury comprising Soumitra Ghosh, AGM
(C&I Maintenance), NTPC
Singrauli; Mr Ratnakar, AGM
(VSR O/H), and Ranjan Kumar,
AGM (Green Chemicals). Their constructive feedback
further enriched the learning
experience for all teams.
Dr B K Bharali, GM (Medical
Services) also graced the closing
ceremony wherein the results
were announced. Team Vindhya
Titans emerged as the Winner,
followed by Team Naveen as First
Runner-up and Team
Rasayanam as Second Runner
up.
Three teams including Pragati
Chakra, Volcano and Tarang—
received Consolation awards.
With its vibrant participation and
impactful outcomes, the QC
Convention once again under
scored the station continual pur
suit of improvement initiatives
and Business Excellence.
