Shikshak Sahakari Bank donates Rs 5 lakh to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund

In response to a public appeal by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the Shikshak Sahakari Bank Limited on Thursday donated Rs 5 lakh to the Chief Ministers Relief Fund, Maharashtra. The cheque of Rs 5 lakh was handed over Fadnavis at the Chief Minister’s official residence, Ramgiri, here in the city in a brief ceremony in presence of Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule; Chairman of the bank Prof. Anil Sole and Vice-Chairman Praveen Datke. The donation is intended to bolster state programmes that provide immediate relief to victims of natural calamities, emergencies and other social crises.
 
Also present on the occasion were bank directors - Anil Mule, Yogesh Ban, Bholanath Sahare, Sunil Patil, Advocate Vinayak Rajkarne, Vivek Jugade, Ashish Wandile, Dr Ravindra Yenurkar and Dr Manisha Wakode, along with the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Alpeshkumar Joshi. Prof. Sole lauded the Chief Minister’s proactive stance on disaster management and expressed hope that such partnerships would continue to strengthen resilience statewide. The ceremony highlighted the collaborative effort between the Government officials and the cooperative sector to address pressing humanitarian needs across Maharashtra.
