CRICKET Association for Blind in Vidarbha (CABV) has announced its team for the 8th Nagesh Trophy scheduled to be held in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat from December. A total of 36 players from 11 districts across Vidarbha actively participated in the selection trials cum camp. Over the course of the camp, 8 competitive matches were played, enabling selectors to assess the players’ performance closely.

 

The camp was inaugurated by Premlal Patel, Director, VNIT. The event was graced by CABV President Jidnyasa Chawaldhal, Vice-President Akash Kubde, Secretary Yogeshwar Chawaldhal and Treasurer Rajesh Naidu. The CABV thanked MLA Mohan Mate, Dr Sagar Meghe, Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA), Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, Sandesh Foundation, Eco-Friendly Living Foundation for their support.
