ECMOCON 2025, a prestigious international conference on Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), concluded successfully in Nagpur. Organized by Dr Rajan Barokar, Lead ECMO Programme, Dr Virendra Belekar and Dr Rashmi Agrawal, ECMO Specialists, Dr Vijaya Lanje, Clinical Perfusionist and Ajin Thomas, ECMO Nurse at KIMS Kingsway Hospital, the three-day event held from December 12 to 14 emerged as a major academic milestone, bringing together leading national and international experts to deliberate on one of the most advanced life-saving technologies in critical care.

 

Addressing the gathering at the valedictory session, Dr Rajan Barokar, Organising Chairperson and Senior ECMO Specialist & Program Head stated, “Through ECMOCON 2025, our aim was to strengthen teamwork, training, and knowledge-sharing to further empower critical care capabilities across India.”
